The company are committed to prevention of injury and ill health and to continual improvement in management and performance of health & safety. To aid with continual improvement the company will set health & safety objectives and regularly review these.
Employees will receive the necessary information and training to carry out tasks correctly and safely. Facilities are available for employee-employer consultation on safety matters.
While health, safety, and welfare of the workplace is the responsibility of Globeweigh, it is the duty of all employees to act responsibly and to do everything that is reasonable to prevent injury to themselves, fellow workers and any person who may have occasion to visit the site, including members of the public.
This Health and Safety Policy will be reviewed periodically and amended if necessary.
The safety performance of the company will be monitored on a regular basis and action taken to improve safety standards.
