General Characteristics

• Available with steel or reinforced concrete platforms
• Can be installed either in a pit or on the surface
• Surface models are complete with tubular side rails for extra safety

Specification

The EuroDeck design utilizes 10,400kg of steel to construct closely spaced structural beams supporting a 10mm deck. This gives a consistent well-drained weighing surface, avoiding a condensation build-up and erosion.

All beams run length ways consistent with the traffic flow to ensure that the weight is always applied directly on to the beams.

It is ideal for sites where dirt build up is a problem due to:

• The positioning of the load-cells away from the ends
• Modified foundations to ease cleaning
• These benefits are achieved through a composite concrete and steel construction allied to a low profile package with simplified foundations.
• The concrete foundation slab is cast in-situ and, together with the steel frame, acts as integral shuttering for the site casting of the one piece reinforced concrete deck.
• The design minimizes transport costs and eliminates the need for heavy lifting equipment.

The weighbridge design also benefits from a simplified buffering system using special “v” blocks to buffer the deck against transverse and longitudinal movement eliminating the requirement for conventional tie bars.

Coupled with Bilanciai load cells, the CSPM can form the heart of a sophisticated management tool. Standard load cells are the high precision and stainless steel. Remote servicing via modem is an option.
