Compupak 5 is used for regulating and controlling the fill levels of packaged products coming off a production line. It also provides the functionality to record quality information associated with the packaged products that are being sampled. The fill levels of the product are regulated by any of the following regulations:

British Pharmacopoeia The system is designed so that additional information can be entered to provide instant reporting facilities over a range of process parameters. Typical examples can include:

----------------Monitoring waste levels
----------------Sell by dates
----------------Qualitative and Quantitative data associated with each pre-packed product
Compupak 5’s main advantage is the minimising of product overfill whilst ensuring that the relevant rules are met according to legislative and Trading Standards requirements. Standard routines in the software include:

----------------Collation of reference test information
----------------Head check routines
----------------Packed product sampling
Ease of operation is achieved by using standard PC technology over the range of Microsoft Windows operating systems. The sampling terminals on the shop floor can also be touch screen based. For the larger installations, instead of the data being stored locally, an ‘off the shelf’ RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) such as a Microsoft SQL Server can be utilised on dedicated server based hardware. There is no restriction on the number of terminals or management PC’s. Starting with a single station PC that is based in the QA/QC laboratory or on a single production line, Compupak 5, being scalable and adaptable, can keep in line with the company requirements now and in the future. Systems can be supplied from a 'software only package' for existing hardware to a comprehensive hardware and software solution.
